The Chili Cookoff

Hello! I had a very fun evening today. It was the chili cook off at the Weinhardt's house. Chili number 1 won for the kids, and chili 3 won for the adults. Elisabeth and I talked to Coach Zach a lot, and people played a lot of cornhole. Plus, Coach Zach said if Elisabeth helps me make a press handstand by the end of February then we both get $25! I have been drawing a lot recently and my signature one is pretty good! Le Lai last night wasn't too bad because great aunt Ellen was there and she taught us this awesome math game where we could outsmart our friend Karis which was awesome! I hope everyone has a good Sunday, God bless!

The past few days

I have gotten three more polar bear stuffed animals for Christmas. One is pretty big with a red and white scarf, which made the name Peppermint seem proper. Then I got two of the exact same polar bear beanie boos so the names Cocoa and Marshmallow fit best. We also have a old Christmas decoration which is a toy sleigh which is perfect for the polar bears to ride in. Wednesday was Coach Ira's birthday so I drew her a picture which I think is one of my best ones yet. Unfortunately, she was sick the day after her birthday so I couldn't give it to her. Another unfortunate turn of events is that we have to eat Chinese food for dinner at the most dreaded place: Lee lai. Back to good things I haven't cried during warmup or conditioning the past two days which is very good for me. Hope you have an awesome day!

The Gum Lady

So, my friend mom Mrs. Stacia, has a lot if gum. She keeps it in a bag called the gum bag; (which led to her nickname) and these are the flavor in it. 1. Grapefruit melon 2. Mentos-tropical 3. Juicy fruit starburst cherry 4. Trident layers-Swedish fish 5. Trident layers-Cherry lime 6. Juicy fruit grape 7. Sour patch watermelon Well, you get the point, she pretty much has or had any gum invented. Here's a word from The Gum Lady: Gum is my favorite!  I love when the gym kiddos come to me for gum.  We need to have a bubble blowing contest! Thank you for joining me, Mrs. Stacia! Hope everybody has a good week, God bless!!!!

San Antonio

Hi! This past weekend was really fun! Elisabeth a competition in San Antonio called the Alamo classic. We could walk to the Alamo from our hotel, plus our hotel room had a balcony! We left Houston about 8:15 on Friday and got there about 11:45. In the morning we went to the Alamo, then on a boat ride (where I fell asleep because I stayed up late and woke up early), went to a Mexican restaurant, then back to the hotel. We went to an art place where there was all these little cool shops. We loved this place called Scent Chips where they made wax with different smells. It was awesome! We then ate pizza for dinner. We had to go to bed early because Elisabeth's competition started early the next morning. In the morning we had leftover pizza for dinner before we left. Luckily the competition was held right across the street. Daddy let me use his camera and I took tons of action pictures. Elisabeth got second place on beam with a 9.7!!!!! Then we went to fuddruckers with her teammate Anna...

A new year

Hi! Sorry I haven't been blogging recently. It's been an interesting start to the new year! I got an iPad for Christmas and that's what I'm blogging off of. We got to use grips in gym and Elisabeth and I got Instagram! James started tae-kwon-do, Elisabeth started optional competition season, Daddy got braces, and Mommy started a lot of crochet projects! I made up a new nickname for myself; A.J. It's my first two initials; A for Abigail, J for Joy. I hope everybody has had a good start to the year, too. Elisabeth did ok for her first optionals meet. She got a 9.050 on beam and floor, a 9.450 on vault, and an 8.800 on bars. God bless!!!
