The past few months

Hi, sorry I haven't been blogging. I also don't have a verse, sorry about that. A lot of things have happened recently. I finished meet season, Elisabeth got baptized, and tons more! Guess what? I got a laptop! Well, sort of, I'm sharing it with my mom. While on the other hand, Elisabeth got her own. But she is older than me. Elisabeth and James had their birthdays in the fall, and Elisabeth got baptized this past Sunday. The laptop has a touch screen and it folds! Sorry, got to go!

Recent things

Hi! Here's the bible verse for this post! "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12 Not much has been going on recently. We have a pretty normal schedule except I have a meet this weekend. Today I had gym from 8:00 am-12:00 pm.  If you get a chance, check out my sister's blog at iampaintbrush.blogspot.com. I know the names kinda weird, but hey, I can't control her! Hopefully I can post soon!

Haikus

Hi! I am going to try and start opening my posts with a bible verse so, here goes. This is ESV by the way. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not by frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9  So I have recently got into haikus. (pronounced hi-coo) They are three line Japanese poems. The first line is 5 syllables, second line is 7 syllables, and third line is 5 syllables. Mine are just pretty random but thinking of them is pretty time killing. Here is a random sample. Welcome to my blog I am on the computer Thank you for reading So, what do you think? I hope to post soon! This is Abigail, signing out.

It's been a while

Hi! So I recently had my first in-house meet and I did pretty good! These are my scores. Vault: 9.2 (no placement) Bars: 9.5 (first place)  Beam: 9.65 (first place) Floor: 8.65 (no placement) All-around: 37.0 I think I could do better on floor but I'm pretty proud of myself! Last year bars was my worst event but I think I've really improved!  THe gym has also made a homeschool groupp that i am in so no more late nights at the gym! That's all the news on gymnastics. We have recently gotten really into art. Elisabeth goes to a watercolor painting class with our grandma on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sometimes we go with her and it is pretty interesting. That's about it on art.  We started school last week and its pretty good. James is repeating second grade but hopefully he going to do third grade things by January. I am going into fifth grade and we are still homeschooling. Elisabeth started middle school (still at home) too. Also, there's a new bl...

Busy

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been posting after gym. Life is so tiring. I probably won't post as much now. But I'll still post three good things from today. 1. Our group was small which was kinda fun 2. I made a 40 second handstand on the floor and none of the the TOPS made it 3. I did some good kip casts

Extra

Hi guys, sorry I forgot to post Monday. I had a extra practice yesterday so I'll do three good things from that. 1. I haven't been crying with the new conditioning 2. I've been going for my backhandsprings a lot more 3. We had time for basics

Three Good Things

1. I was able to do my assignment on a beam I don't usually go on 2. We got to go to tumble track for floor (only if we begged on our knees) 3. I did some good round-off back-handspring back tucks from the tumble track into the pit

The weekend

Sorry I forgot to blog yesterday. I went to the kingdom family conference with Storye and it was awesome! Then I slept over. Good things from Saturday 1. We got it go to tumble track for floor 2. We got to do straps 3. Leg lift testing counted as leg lifts

Three good things

1. I made 5 in a row backwalkovers on the high beam to lock with leg up 2. We did straps on bars 3. We got to go to tumble track on floor Wanna know something really funny? In order to go to tumble track AnnaBrooke had to walk hand and hand with Coach Zach down, walk arm and arm like she was going to prom, or give him a proper hug. She chose hug, and Coach Zach was so excited. AnnaBrooke thought it was disgusting. That's all for now!

Three good thing and Saturdays

1. I got to count kicks on beam 2. I did some good backwalkovers with leg up 3. We got this cool air floor thing So, about Saturdays, it seems that I always miss the fun stuff. They always end up getting to play game, or do fun stuff and it's so sad that I usually miss it. Moving on to another topic, this past weekend we went to Dallas for one of Elisabeth's meets and she did awesome on bars,(especially compared to the past few meets) and got a 9.775 on beam!

Late

Sorry I couldn't do the three good things last night because we were making valentines for our teammates. I noticed all the three good things have Bs for the main word too. 1. I did some good Bounders on vault 2. I kept the Beanbag in for 2 sets in arrow of push away kips spotted 3. I made a bunch of Backwalkovers to lock with leg up

Today and music

Hello!!!! I just came home so it is time for three good things. 1. I got claps for working hard 2. I have been doing much better about not crying during conditioning  3. I was the first to finish the assignment on beam There you go! Now I want to discuss a topic I haven't really have. Music. First, I am a Christian so this will all be Christian music because I don't really know anything else. These will be familiar if you often listen to KSBJ (89.3), or Air1 (103.7). Here is my favorite playlist that I made. You can look them up on YouTube to see if you have heard it before. 1. Alone by Hollyn 2. Blessed be the name sung by Tree63 3. Blessings by Laura Story 4. Drops in the ocean by Hawk Nelson 5. Even so come by Passion 6. Ever Be by Natalie Grant 7. Feel it by TobyMac 8. First by Lauren Daigle 9. Fix my eyes by For King And Country 10. Give me your eyes by Brandon Heath 11. Good good father by Chris Tomlin 12. Grace wins by Matthew West  13....

Happy February

Hi! Happy February, and happy birthday Waipuo! It's a new month which means new conditioning and warm-up. Leg lifts aren't too bad, but we have a lot. There iscardio in the beginning of warmup, and I don't like cardio. We've been doing something new after gym where we say three good things about gym, to be on the positive side. So I am going to post those now. 1. I didn't cry in leg lifts even though we had more 2. I made a bunch of backwalkovers in a row on beam 3. We got to go to tumble track on floor So, the past few days I've been looking at some of my old posts, and I saw this one post from a long time ago which said, "We are leaving for gym in less than 7 minutes." Literally! I also noticed I started this blog when I was six years old, and now I am 9 and a half, so I have had this blog for more than three years! I going to eat dinner now, so that's all for now!

The Chili Cookoff

Hello! I had a very fun evening today. It was the chili cook off at the Weinhardt's house. Chili number 1 won for the kids, and chili 3 won for the adults. Elisabeth and I talked to Coach Zach a lot, and people played a lot of cornhole. Plus, Coach Zach said if Elisabeth helps me make a press handstand by the end of February then we both get $25! I have been drawing a lot recently and my signature one is pretty good! Le Lai last night wasn't too bad because great aunt Ellen was there and she taught us this awesome math game where we could outsmart our friend Karis which was awesome! I hope everyone has a good Sunday, God bless!

The past few days

I have gotten three more polar bear stuffed animals for Christmas. One is pretty big with a red and white scarf, which made the name Peppermint seem proper. Then I got two of the exact same polar bear beanie boos so the names Cocoa and Marshmallow fit best. We also have a old Christmas decoration which is a toy sleigh which is perfect for the polar bears to ride in. Wednesday was Coach Ira's birthday so I drew her a picture which I think is one of my best ones yet. Unfortunately, she was sick the day after her birthday so I couldn't give it to her. Another unfortunate turn of events is that we have to eat Chinese food for dinner at the most dreaded place: Lee lai. Back to good things I haven't cried during warmup or conditioning the past two days which is very good for me. Hope you have an awesome day!

The Gum Lady

So, my friend mom Mrs. Stacia, has a lot if gum. She keeps it in a bag called the gum bag; (which led to her nickname) and these are the flavor in it. 1. Grapefruit melon 2. Mentos-tropical 3. Juicy fruit starburst cherry 4. Trident layers-Swedish fish 5. Trident layers-Cherry lime 6. Juicy fruit grape 7. Sour patch watermelon Well, you get the point, she pretty much has or had any gum invented. Here's a word from The Gum Lady: Gum is my favorite!  I love when the gym kiddos come to me for gum.  We need to have a bubble blowing contest! Thank you for joining me, Mrs. Stacia! Hope everybody has a good week, God bless!!!!

San Antonio

Hi! This past weekend was really fun! Elisabeth a competition in San Antonio called the Alamo classic. We could walk to the Alamo from our hotel, plus our hotel room had a balcony! We left Houston about 8:15 on Friday and got there about 11:45. In the morning we went to the Alamo, then on a boat ride (where I fell asleep because I stayed up late and woke up early), went to a Mexican restaurant, then back to the hotel. We went to an art place where there was all these little cool shops. We loved this place called Scent Chips where they made wax with different smells. It was awesome! We then ate pizza for dinner. We had to go to bed early because Elisabeth's competition started early the next morning. In the morning we had leftover pizza for dinner before we left. Luckily the competition was held right across the street. Daddy let me use his camera and I took tons of action pictures. Elisabeth got second place on beam with a 9.7!!!!! Then we went to fuddruckers with her teammate Anna...

A new year

Hi! Sorry I haven't been blogging recently. It's been an interesting start to the new year! I got an iPad for Christmas and that's what I'm blogging off of. We got to use grips in gym and Elisabeth and I got Instagram! James started tae-kwon-do, Elisabeth started optional competition season, Daddy got braces, and Mommy started a lot of crochet projects! I made up a new nickname for myself; A.J. It's my first two initials; A for Abigail, J for Joy. I hope everybody has had a good start to the year, too. Elisabeth did ok for her first optionals meet. She got a 9.050 on beam and floor, a 9.450 on vault, and an 8.800 on bars. God bless!!!
