Birthday!!!

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fails." Lamentations 3:22

First off, my sister just reminded me about blogging, I almost forgot. Oops! This past week has been pretty good, especially because my birthday was Saturday! So I am going to write a description of each day.

Tuesday: Elisabeth and I were bored so we made a video on her phone where she gave me spices and I had to guess while smelling them blindfolded! I got almost all of them right! Other than that, not much.

Wednesday: We went swimming and I got water on my phone. Yikes! It seemed to be okay but it kept doing this weird buzzing thing so I put it in rice and waited. It turned out okay so I am really thankful.

Thursday: Nothing much besides the fact that I got kicked in the butt for my birthday at krav maga, (it's tradition)

Friday: This is kinda irrelevant but I was messing around on an app called acceleread and at one point I scrolled through a story on the "how fast do you read + a comprehension quiz" test and I guessed on all the questions but it turns out I got 83% of the questions right and 18973 words per minute haha. Another funny thing that happened was that I know someone named X. (not using real names) My friends and I always tease her about liking this boy in her grade (she doesn't actually and the boy's code name is Y) who she sometimes talks to. Anyway, we found out that one of Y's best friends teases him about having a crush on X. (he doesn't) What are the chances? Later, we told Y's friend and he said he ships it. Just thought the story was interesting and hilarious. That's it for Friday.

Saturday: I picked up some friends from church for a sleepover which was super fun. We went to lunch at my favorite place, swam, played card games, had pizza for dinner, watched Mulan II and Undercover Boss, and went to bed at 12. Overall super fun!

Sunday: Took friends to church and we sat together in service. I really liked the sermon, it was about respecting people that God puts in authority over you. Then we had Unity in youth group (monthly service) which was good. Then I had my servant team meeting which was surprisingly productive. Then we just had a lazy rest of the day at home.

Today: Rearranged my room to make it more open, learned VBS hand motions because I'm volunteering for it next week at our church, and watched Supergirl.

Hope you liked that! Thanks for reading and I have to go. Come back next Monday for more!💖

Vacation and Fasting

Well I finally got my blog onto my  Google account. But, (there's always a but) no access to any settings! My verse today is one of my Sunday school verses. "The LORD will fight for you, you need only to be still." Exodus 14:14 Well, I found some books that I like!(I am extremely picky so this is very good) I am reading the Harry Potter series! I am in the middle of the fourth book. We went on a cruise this past weekend! It was my first cruise, my first time out of the country, plus I got to go with friends! It was soooo fun! I was a short cruise, only Thursday afternoon till Monday morning. We went to Cozumel, Mexico. It was so cool! It was my first time going to a beach with blue water and it was amazing! Of course, it can't all be perfect. James did not want to be in either family picture. I fell of the inflatable water park and salty water went gushing up my nose.(Luckily, I had a life jacket) Elisabeth got super motion sick after being in the waves a lot com...

5 things you probably don't know about me

Brothers,  join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk  according to the example you have in us.  For  many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you  even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.   Their end is destruction,  their god is their belly, and  they glory in their shame, with  minds set on earthly things.   But  our citizenship is in heaven, and  from it we  await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,     who will transform  our lowly body  to be like his glorious body,  by the power that enables him even  to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:17-21 Once again, I'm so sorry for not blogging this past week. I was at D-Camp, which is a camp where my church and a bunch of our sister churches have a camp for middle-schoolers and we get to know each other and God more. The Bible verse above was actually the theme for it. Camp was super fun by the...
