Summer!

"For the spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7 Happy memorial day! Today I'm especially grateful for all of the people who lost their lives serving our country. Hope y'all had a great week. This past week has been pretty uneventful and boring because I finished school and piano for the summer. So far today I've watched Captain America: Civil War with my family, walked Piper, eaten breakfast and lunch, and read. This evening I am going to my parents' friend's house to swim and eat dinner. Today's topic is my summer plans! So I am just going to list them in chronological order and I hope you enjoy! June 2: My birthday! I am going to have some friends from church over for a sleepover! (not Karis or Abby though) June 11-15: Volunteering at our church's VBS (the theme is science) June 24-29: Going on my first mission trip to New Orleans! I'm kinda nervous but super ex...

Happy Monday:)

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not human masters..." Colossians 3:23 Hey guys! Originally, I was going to start doing my weekly posts on Wednesday, but I was really bored today so it's going to be Monday. Not much has been happening lately, so today I'm gonna tell y'all what I do with all my free time. These are also things to do when you're bored. (btw, these are not in order of how much time I spend doing them) 1) Read It's not my favorite thing to do, but if you have a good book it will help the day pass a lot faster than it would without. 2) Walk Piper Walking is a great way to use all of your muscles and be productive! The only thing is it's getting hotter here in Houston so my walks have been at 6:45 AM which are still warm and humid🙄 3) Watch TV/ Go on my phone I know it's not very good for your brain, but it can pass the time. I recommend watching The Flash and DC's Legen...

May is Prader-Willi awareness month!

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16  Hey guys! Sorry that I am so inconsistent with posting I just forget and am too lazy. 😅 Anyways, May is Prader-Willi awareness month and that is what my brother James has so I am going to tell y'all a little bit about it.    PWS is a rare genetic disorder affecting about 1 in 15,000 people. It affects all genders and races equally. It mainly affects the part of the brain that tells you when you’re full resulting in feeling like you’re always hungry. Other symptoms include anxiety, behavioral challenges, cognitive limitations, orthopedic issues such as scoliosis, slow metabolism, sleep-wake cycles, skin picking, speech and language problems, strength/balance/coordination problems, and more. There is no current cure for it, and those with PWS are unable to live independently. Yeah so that's just a little about it... comment if ...
