DIY

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Today I am going to to write about two diys. The first one is for Harry Potter lovers.

Our wands
DIY Harry Potter wands
You will need:
A chopstick
Hot glue
Paint
Gloss (optional) (I used Mod Podge)
  1. Apply hot glue to the lower part of the chopstick
  2. Paint it over
  3. Use Mod Podge if you want to.
The one that I made is 10 inch ebony with a thestral tail hair core. Elisabeth's is 9 and a half inch vine wood with a dragon heartstring core.

This next one is to make custom soap.
Marble soap (it looks like a glacier)

Soap
You will need:
Glycerin Soap
Silicone mold
Soap coloring (if you want color)
Some thing microwavable
Knife (plastic is fine)
Some thing to mix with

  1. Melt some soap in something
  2. Add color is you want to
  3. Pour it into the mold
  4. Wait for it to set (usually about 20 minutes)
  5. More soap
I am especially proud of this geode that looks like amythyst
  6. Take it out and carve it
If you want to you can take already made soap and stick it into hot soap then let is set and it will look like a geode.

Vacation and Fasting

Well I finally got my blog onto my  Google account. But, (there's always a but) no access to any settings! My verse today is one of my Sunday school verses. I am in the middle of the fourth book. We went on a cruise this past weekend! It was my first cruise, my first time out of the country, plus I got to go with friends! It was soooo fun! I was a short cruise, only Thursday afternoon till Monday morning. We went to Cozumel, Mexico. It was so cool! It was my first time going to a beach with blue water and it was amazing! Of course, it can't all be perfect. James did not want to be in either family picture. I fell of the inflatable water park and salty water went gushing up my nose.(Luckily, I had a life jacket) Elisabeth got super motion sick after being in the waves a lot com...

5 things you probably don't know about me

Brothers,  join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk  according to the example you have in us.  For  many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you  even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.   Their end is destruction,  their god is their belly, and  they glory in their shame, with  minds set on earthly things.   But  our citizenship is in heaven, and  from it we  await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,     who will transform  our lowly body  to be like his glorious body,  by the power that enables him even  to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:17-21 Once again, I'm so sorry for not blogging this past week. I was at D-Camp, which is a camp where my church and a bunch of our sister churches have a camp for middle-schoolers and we get to know each other and God more. The Bible verse above was actually the theme for it. Camp was super fun by the...
